Brian Wilkinson

Senior Client Services Officer

On the job

Brian started his financial services career in corporate and investment banking.

He has extensive experience in equity and fixed income financial markets, where he has advised both companies on their financial strategy and institutional fund managers on portfolio asset allocation.

Brian then spent nearly 20 years training the next generation of bankers, wealth managers, and markets traders for the world’s largest banks.

He recently downloaded a lifetime’s experience and passed his level 4 Investment Advice Diploma and attained the CISI Certificate in Paraplanning.

Off duty

Brian is fascinated by investing, especially how markets reflect the big themes and ups and downs of the world economy. But his passion is paraplanning. This helps clients understand how investments can build the wealth they need for pensions, give a helping hand to their families, and most importantly, help them protect their wealth and legacies for the long term.

Outside of work, Brian likes to ski, and sail his boat in the Solent and English Channel.

When not watching Harlequins play rugby, he grows vegetables in his allotment.

Three little things about Brian...

I’ve sailed all around Great Britain, including St Kilda and in a 4,000-mile race at Muckle Flugga in the Shetland Islands that took a month to complete.

I produce four litres of red wine a year from my allotment vineyard in Ealing.

I collect antique wine glasses and vintage cutlery at flea markets.
